Measure your foot and then compare your measurements with the table. To correctly measure your foot length, follow these steps:
1) Place your foot on a white sheet of paper and rest your heel and the sheet against the wall.
2) With a pencil held completely vertically, draw a line at the end of the foot. We recommend that another person draw the line to ensure the foot is in the correct position.
3) Measure the distance from the wall to the line. This distance will be the total length of your foot.
Note: Always measure both feet, using the longer foot as the reference. We recommend repeating the process at least a couple of times to ensure you get an accurate measurement. It's best to measure your feet at the time you plan to wear the shoes to get the correct size, as feet tend to swell slightly throughout the day.
PLEASE NOTE: The centimeters indicated in the tables correspond to the internal measurement of the shoe itself. For example, the insole of size 36 measures 24 cm.
Taking measurements and choosing the correct size is the sole responsibility of the customer. The TAMARA Flamenco guarantee covers the possibility that the shoe was not manufactured to the correct measurements.

detailed description
Our Basic semi-professional shoe, as its name suggests, is a basic shoe for beginners. This model is manufactured in Spain for us under strict quality and design controls. Our Basic model is ideal for people who want to start dancing without having to make a large investment at the beginning of their learning journey. Below you can see the features of this model:
-
Material : Our Basic model is made of cowhide leather.
- Non-slip sole : The sole is made of grooved rubber to prevent slipping.
- Front reinforcement : The decoration on the front of the design adds a touch of elegance while providing perfect reinforcement to the front to prevent this part, which is one of the most pressure-bearing, from weakening or deforming.
- Nails : They are found in the toe and heel.
- Shoe width : This is a feature we wanted to ensure in our model because when spending time dancing, feet swell and need more room than a regular shoe.
- Heel : Our heels are made of wood. This is the material a good flamenco shoe needs because plastic doesn't produce good sound. The height of our heel is standard (approximately 6 cm, but it varies slightly depending on the size chosen).
Guidance on our semi-professional range catalog. This is the order of quality and sound of our shoes:
- "Basic" models: These are basic models at a good price. They are made of cowhide and are very durable. These models are available in a wide range of colors. All our Basic models (except the Elastic Basic) are generally made to order.
- Superior TAMARA Model: This is a superior model to the Basic model and is by far the best-selling due to its excellent value for money. For this model, top-quality leathers are selected, it has a significantly higher number of nails, and the nails are filed for better sound and floor protection. In addition, the TAMARA model includes an internal cushion for greater comfort for the soles of the feet, which suffer considerably from the continuous impact on the floor. This model is usually in stock.
- Begoña Cervera Model: An intermediate model between the semi-professional and professional ranges, designed and manufactured by Begoña Cervera. It is made with very high-quality leather and has excellent sound. This model can be ordered in leather or suede and with a standard (6cm) or low (5cm) heel. We typically stock leather with a 6cm heel.
