The World's Most Exclusive Castanets

This is the last brand new pair of the super exclusive and limited edition castanets for sale from Angeles de Filigrana. As an authorised distributor we can certify that their creator guarantees that no more pairs of this limited edition will ever be made as they were created in a material with characteristics that no longer exist.

Characteristics:

Material: Ivory coloured fibreglass, the highest quality fibre in castanets. This ivory coloured fibreglass is a unique limited edition and there are very few pairs in the world. It is not possible to produce any more because this material in this colour is no longer available. The colour imitates natural ivory and has variations in colour tone from piece to piece. Each piece is unique.

Boxes: The inside of these castanets is handcrafted with 5 resonance boxes in each for excellent sound diffusion.

Weight: 90 grams each. 180 grams per pair.

Dimensions:

From the highest point: 10 cm approx.

From the centre: 9 cm approx.

Width: 8 cm approximately (at the widest point).

Includes embroidered natural leather castanet case as a gift.

Size guide

In a general way we can resume castanets sizes like:

- Size 3: kids

- Size 4: kids and women with small hands.

- Size 5: most of women or men with small hands

- Size 7: generally recommended for men.

Spanish castanets size it is a quite personal decision and there is really not a defined way to chose the perfect size. As orientation we can chose our "correct" size depending on our hands measures:

Measuring from point A to B we can say that:

Less than 7 cm-> Size 3
Between 7 & 8.5 cm -> Sizes 4 y 5
more than 8,5 cm ->Size 7
